General Information
The Center for Environmental Studies and Disaster Management (PSLHMB) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram is a research, consultancy, and community service institution focusing on environmental issues, sustainability, and disaster risk reduction. The center integrates scientific research, policy analysis, and community empowerment to address complex environmental and disaster-related challenges. Through interdisciplinary approaches and strong stakeholder collaboration, PSLHMB develops evidence-based solutions that support environmentally responsible development. We are committed to providing innovative, practical, and inclusive strategies to promote resilience, environmental protection, and sustainable development at local, regional, and national levels.
History
PSLHMB was established in response to increasing environmental degradation and disaster risks in Nusa Tenggara and Indonesia. Since its establishment, the center has been actively involved in research, policy assistance, and community capacity building.

Focuses on disaster risk assessment, preparedness planning, mitigation strategies, emergency response, and recovery programs through integrated, data-driven, and community-based approaches to strengthen resilience and reduce social, economic, and environmental losses.
