The Center for Environmental Studies and Disaster Management (PSLHMB) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram is dedicated to research, consultancy, education, and community service, focusing on environmental sustainability and disaster risk reduction. PSLHMB integrates scientific research, policy analysis, and community empowerment to address evolving environmental and disaster-related challenges at local, regional, and national levels.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration with government agencies, industry, academic institutions, and local communities, PSLHMB develops evidence-based solutions that support regional and national development goals. History & Journey of PSLHMB
PSLHMB was established in response to increasing environmental degradation and disaster risks in Nusa Tenggara and Indonesia. Since its establishment, the center has been actively involved in scientific research, policy assistance, technical consultancy, and community capacity building in environmental and disaster management. By integrating academic expertise with practical field experience, PSLHMB promotes evidence-based decision-making and inclusive development. Through interdisciplinary approaches and strong collaboration with government institutions, private sectors, and local communities, the center contributes to strengthening environmental protection, disaster resilience, and sustainable development at local, regional, and national levels.
